The Collins Off Main
Guest Experience

We're excited to host you at our venue! Here are some helpful housekeeping details.

Guest Parking

Parking is plentiful and free in the quaint city of Chelsea! With ample street parking and six lots located within a block radius of the venue, everyone is sure to find a spot. Our parking recommendations are outlined below. Please utilize the parking map provided. The Collins off Main is notated on the map by the purple star. Parking recommendations are outlined by purple lines. 

  • Firehouse Lot // Located in between The Collins off Main and the Chelsea Fire Station, this 24 hour lot provides an abundance of spots within walking distance. 

  • Street Parking // We encourage you to park along W. Middle St. and South St.

Ceremony Details

Our chapel is located on the first floor of the historic Chelsea Clocktower building, just around the corner from The Collins off Main, where cocktail hour and reception will be held. Here are a few things to note about our chapel below:
 

  • Address // 310 N. Main St. Suite 100, Chelsea, MI 48118 

  • Please park near our Off Main venue and walk to our chapel. There will be signs along the walking path to direct you. The walking path to our chapel is indicated on the map below in purple. Please be sure to cross at Middle St., as there is not another cross walk before reaching our Clocktower chapel. 

  • Once you arrive at the Clocktower, please follow the signs directing entrance. There is a bridal party and a guest entrance. Please make sure you enter through the double doors for our guest entrance. 

  • Please leave large gifts for the couple in your car until cocktail hour at The Collins off Main. 

  • Ceremony space is ADA accessible.

Reception

Our reception space is located at The Collins off Main, where cocktail hour and reception will be held. Here are a few things to note about our reception area below:
 

  • Address // 120 W. Middle St. Chelsea, MI 48118 

  • Please enter the reception space around the side of the building, through the black gate. This will take you directly into our cocktail tent. Cocktail hour will be held in our cocktail tent and our turf lawn.

  • Please bring your cards/gifts to cocktail hour and the reception. There will be a designated spot for you to place these upon entrance to cocktail hour.   

  • Smoking is allowed on the teak floor by the fire-pit line, as well as out front by our benches, as approved by couple. No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed in the reception area, cocktail tent, or turf lawn. 

  • Reception space is ADA accessible.

Afterparty

Our afterparty is located at a local Chelsea establishment. Please coordinate with your couple for further information. Here are a few things to note about our afterparty below:
 

  • Afterparty location // Currently Jets Pizza

  • Afterparty begins at the conclusion of reception. (10:30pm)

  • Please note there are no Ubers in Chelsea. If your wedding is not providing a shuttle, please be sure to coordinate a safe ride home beforehand.

Hotels and Lodging

  • The Comfort Inn (1.7 miles away)

  • Chelsea House Victorian Inn (700 ft. away)

  • Holiday Inn Express on Zeeb Rd, (15 min. drive) 

  • Airbnb is available in Chelsea and other surrounding areas. 

  • If you cannot find lodging in Chelsea or Ann Arbor, we recommend looking into lodging in Jackson. Jackson is located 30 minutes from our venue.

  • If the wedding you are attending is taking place during football season, we recommend booking your lodging as early as possible. With being located close to Ann Arbor, lodging can fill up fast in the fall. 

  • Reminder that we include accommodations for bridal party the night before the wedding (up to 8 in each group total) and accommodations for wedding night to our couple. 

  • Reminder---shuttles are only provided if pre-arranged by the couple. If your couple has not provided a shuttle, please be sure to coordinate a safe ride. Ubers do not currently service the Chelsea area.

What Should I Wear?

The Venue is both indoors and outdoors.  We suggest layers to allow you to fully enjoy the space!
