Amy, Doug, and Charlie—the family behind The Collins off Main. We're entrepreneurs, adventure seekers, big dreamers, and believers that life's most meaningful moments are the ones we share with the people we love.

Our story started more than two decades ago with Amy's passion for bringing people together.

​

Long before The Collins off Main was even a thought, Amy began her career in wedding planning and design in West Michigan. That passion eventually took her to Santa Barbara, California, where she built Amy Grace Events into a nationally recognized wedding and event planning company.

​

Over the years, she developed a love for thoughtful design, meaningful celebrations, and the kind of hospitality that makes people feel genuinely cared for.

​

Then life brought a new adventure. Amy and Doug found each other, married, and began building a life together. Over the past decade, we've blended family, business, and a shared love of creating something meaningful.

​

Eventually, that journey brought us back to Michigan, where we discovered a historic building in downtown Chelsea that would become the next chapter in our story.

And as Amy likes to say, sometimes a place just sings to you.

It's a reflection of our family, our experiences, and the things we value most: hard work, creativity, kindness, genuine hospitality, and making time for the people we love.

We're raising our family while growing our businesses, finding adventure whenever we can, and doing our best to create a life filled with meaningful experiences.
